It is a great privilege to be asked to speak at this hui. Thank you for inviting me to share my thoughts with you about how together, we can make a positive difference for Maori in education.
Firstly thank you all for inviting me up here to korero with you. Being a Cantabrian, I have always thought that we have huge distances to travel in the South Island and that North Islanders just wouldn’t understand that.
