The following awards and grants are made annually through and by the New Zealand Principals' Federation.

The Don Le Prou Award
Honouring the late Don Le Prou, a founder of the NZPF and former principal of Frankton School in Hamilton, this is a study grant to assist NZPF members from U1-3 schools to undertake professional development.

Tauri Morgan Memorial Award
Honouring the late Tauri Morgan, Kaumatua for NZPF and former principal of Waiouru Primary School, this is a grant to assist NZPF members from U4+ schools to attend an NZPF Conference.

Rural Teaching Principals' Grant for Seminars and Conferences
A grant to assist local Rural Principals' Associations to run their own seminars and conferences.

David Stewart Memorial Scholarship
This is a joint initiative between the NZEI and NZPF. The purpose of the Scholarship is to provide educational leaders with the opportunity for research study that honours the work of Dr David Stewart. More details >>
 
NZPF Service Award - Retiring Principals
To mark the retirement of school principals, NZPF has developed a special Service Award.  If your local principals’ association is aware of any retiring principals in your region then have your President email the principal’s name(s).  We will prepare a Service Award which will be emailed to your President for presenting at your local principals’ association function.
